Hexham Smooth Fox Terriers
Welcome to the Hexham Kennels
Hexham Kennel was started in 1993 with Smooth Fox Terriers from Mrs. Stout’s Quissex kennel in Rhode Island and Sibyll Somer’s Winsome Kennel, and Nancy Bartholomew’s A Shoe kennels. A second Quissex bred Smooth rounded out my foundation bitches. I have attempted to meld the English and American bloodlines to produce the Smooth I am most happy with. I maintain a small kennel with a maximum of three litters a year. As of the fall 2005 I now have 21 homebred American champions, including specialty winners since my first litter in 1994.
